About this tool
Digital Prayer Beads is a free online zen & relaxation tool. Swipe to count prayer beads with calming sound effects. Calm your mind with soothing visuals and sounds. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
A string of rosary beads (usually 108 beads) is displayed on the screen. Use a mouse or finger to gently dial the beads one by one, and the count will be accumulated accordingly. Every time you dial, there will be a corresponding wooden fish sound or chanting sound feedback. The experience is close to the real dial bead. The current count, total laps and progress are clear at a glance, and the interface is so simple that there is almost no learning cost.
The rosary material can be selected from wood, agate, Bodhi, etc., each with a different tone; it can also set a target count (such as 108 or 1080), with special prompts when reaching the standard, and support resetting and viewing historical records to facilitate recording daily homework. The counting logic is implemented in JavaScript, and the sound effects are played using the Web Audio API.
It is suitable for Buddhist practitioners to do Buddha counting so that their homework can be traced; it is also suitable for use as an anchor point for concentration during meditation, or simply as a small tool for decompression and relaxation-the rhythm of plucking beads itself has a calming effect.
Tip: Set a small daily goal (such as 108 times) and stick to it will feel very ceremonial; use it with a censer or white noise to have a better meditation effect. The "tapping" sound of the rosary and the increase in the count will slowly bring the impetuous mood back to a stable state.
The virtual rosary counter restores the experience of plucking beads. Each count increases by one and is accompanied by the sound of a wooden fish. The target number of circles can be set. Practice counting and meditation are suitable.
