About this tool
Museum of Useless Buttons is a free online prank tool. Buttons that only do absurd things when clicked, fully random. Harmless fun to surprise the people around you. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
There is a row of buttons with seemingly clear functions on the page-but clicking on them will only get meaningless results: some pop up the sentence "You clicked a button", some turn the entire page elements 360 degrees, some Put on an inexplicable sound, and some will chain trigger more useless buttons to appear, like an "endless button doll."
Each button has refined visual and interactive feedback, but it does not change any actual state-that's where its humor lies. The button style refers to real design languages such as Material Design and iOS, but the interface itself is quite "serious", so serious that it makes people want to complain more.
It is suitable for playing when bored, testing friends 'patience, or opening it on a colleague's computer to "study what the button is for for half a day"; it is also often used as an interesting material for "anti-patterns" in interaction design demonstrations, allowing designers to reflect on "What is a useful interaction?"
Tip: The real pleasure lies in observing the changes in other people's expressions from "serious research" to "doubting life"; you can also count how many different reactions you can find yourself. Use it as a collection of Mini games-the moment you collect it all, you probably understand the philosophy of "uselessness."
The collection of useless buttons creates a row of beautifully designed but useless buttons. When clicked, they will only trigger meaningless animations and prompts. It is purely for fun and passing time.
