About this tool

Fake Browser Memory is a free online fake screen simulator. Simulate browser out of memory crash. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.

After opening it, the browser will pop up a system-level "insufficient memory" warning-"This page cannot be loaded" and "Please close some tabs to free up memory" and other prompts. The style refers to the real alarms of Chrome and Firefox. The red and gray icons and wording are enough to make it look real, and even the "Details" button is made.

The warning is a picture drawn on the front end and will not read the true memory usage and will not affect browser performance; the page will disappear after closing. The best time to use it is when the other person is opening a bunch of tabs and complaining about the computer card-the guilt in that moment is the most real, as if the browser is really "naming and criticizing" him.

It is suitable for teasing friends who "open too many tabs". It is also often used to make funny jokes about programmers/office workers "computer on the verge of crashing", or as graphic material for system demonstrations; for "tab collectors", this is almost a demon mirror.

Be careful not to use it when the other party is downloading large files, compiling or rendering videos, so as not to add real pressure to the joke; after exposing it, you can easily show that the task manager "actually has enough memory", laugh and close the loop, and you can also persuade the other party to "close the tab page."

The fake lack of memory warning simulates a browser pop-up window that prompts "Insufficient memory, please close tabs." The friend who had moved away with dozens of tabs instantly felt guilty, as if the computer really couldn't hold it.
