About this tool

Fake Virus Scan is a free online fake screen simulator. Simulate antivirus scanning screen. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.

After opening, a professional anti-virus software interface is presented, including a scanning progress bar, the file path being scanned, the number of threats discovered, and the quarantine area. The scanning process quickly scrolls through the list of documents, and occasionally pops up a red warning saying "Threat Found". The rhythm completely mimics the tension of real killing soft people. The "threat name" can also be customized to make it look more professional.

All scans and threats are pre-written animations and will not actually read, delete or isolate any files on your device; press F11 or Esc to exit. To be more realistic, you can maximize the window in advance and full screen, then excuse "help you check your computer", or write the scanning path as the real folder name on the other party's desktop.

It is suitable for pranks and panic jokes among friends, and is often used as a "computer poisoning" scene in Short Video. It is worth noting that when faced with people who are really worried about computer security, please use caution. After the joke is over, you must explain and quit on the spot to eliminate the other party's anxiety-"calm down after being scared" is the complete script.

Advanced gameplay: Change the scanned "threat path" to the real folder name on the other party's computer (such as "Document" and "Desktop"), which will make it more immersive; you can also use it with a fake firewall pop-up window to perform the "computer is being attacked" comic drama-but also, remember to finish it in time and don't let the misunderstanding continue.

Fake virus scanning simulates the scanning interface of anti-virus software, displaying progress, discovering threats, isolating files and other processes. It is so realistic that people think that the computer is poisoned. It is a classic trick and Short Video prop.
