About this tool

Fake Loading Screen is a free online fake screen simulator. Simulate various loading progress bars. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.

After opening it, a simulated software loading screen is presented: the progress bar is slowly advancing, the circling animation is constantly rotating, and text messages such as "Loading resources","initializing modules","Please wait..." appear in a loop, which looks like a large piece of software is starting. The loading speed, prompt text and whether to display the percentage can all be customized, and can even be disguised as the boot screen of a specific software.

The screen is rendered by the front end and does not really load any programs or consume resources; you exit when you close the page. If you want to act naturally, you can disguise it as the start-up screen of the other party about to use a certain software, creating a wait of "Why is it not ready yet?"; with the rhythm of the progress bar, the effect will be more realistic.

It is suitable for teasing friends to stage complaints about "This software is too slow". It is also often used as UI material to demonstrate "load-in-state" design, or combined with other fake tools to form a serial drama; product managers can also use it to preview the look and feel of different loading prompt copywriting.

Reminder: Don't delay too long when the other person is in a hurry to use the software; just stop the joke of "loading slowly" and end with a sentence of "lying to you". The atmosphere is best. Don't let the other person really restart the computer and wait for it to load.

The fake loading tool can simulate the start-up and loading screens of various software, and adjust progress bars, circles and initialization prompts at will, allowing the wait for "software is starting" to occur at any time.
