About this tool
Fake System Freeze is a free online fake screen simulator. Simulate complete system freeze with no response. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
After opening it, the screen will "get stuck" without warning: the mouse turns in a circle, the current window title appears "unresponsive", and there is no response to clicking-which is almost indistinguishable from the precursor of a real crash. The stuck duration can be customized, and you can also set to "recover after a while" or continue to "pretend to be dead", or even play a deteriorated version of "crossing the point and crossing the card".
The effect is performed by the front end and will not really affect system performance or freeze other programs; press F11 or Esc to cancel it. If you want to act naturally, you can cut in while the other person is scrolling the web or typing, so that "stuck" feels no dissonance, as if the computer is really losing a temper.
It is suitable for teasing colleagues when they create the moment "is the computer stuck again". It is also often used as video material to demonstrate the phenomenon of "unresponsive programs" or as a prop for funny jokes in office scenes, making "working workers 'computer daily life" resonate.
Solemn reminder: Never use it for people who have unsaved work on the computer-the panic of "crash" is often accompanied by the association of "files have not been saved"; please limit the jokes to friends whose data is safe and idle, and explain it as soon as possible. It is fake.
The fake system stuck causes the screen to suddenly freeze, the mouse to turn, and the window to display "No Response", completely reproducing the maddening seconds before the computer crashed.
