About this tool
Fake Win8/8.1 Login is a free online fake screen simulator. Windows 8/8.1 tile login screen with modern flat design. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
After opening it, it displays a Windows 8-style login screen: large time and date centered, sliding prompts at the bottom of the lock screen and a tile-style background are all available. The overall restoration of Win8's flat design language, and people who have seen it can recognize it at a glance. Even the interactive hint of "lock screen sliding down and unlock" has been made. Background tiles and user names can be customized.
The interface is drawn by the front end and will not really lock the system or verify the account; press F11 or Esc to exit. If you want to trick, you can pick a friend who was tortured by Win8 back then. The effect comes with a nostalgic bonus, or make a joke about the classic comment about "Where's the Start Menu?"
It is suitable for teasing old netizens to create a moment when "this interface is so familiar". It is also often used as framing material for popular science and nostalgic videos of the system evolution, making Win8's memories of that period recalled.
Reminder: The target and timing of the joke are still based on the premise that the other party is idle and has no urgent matters; after the performance is exposed, don't let the joke conflict with the real system use, and don't let the other party mistake the computer into thinking that the computer has "returned to Win8."
The fake Windows 8 login interface reproduces the Win8 ticket-style lock screen, with flat color blocks and large time characters complete, making people who have seen Win8 instantly smile.
