About this tool
Window Drag Lock is a free online fake screen simulator. Popup sticks to mouse cursor, close button does not work. Prank your friends with convincing fake screens. It runs entirely in your browser — no download or sign-up needed.
After opening, there is a dragable window on the page, but once you try to drag it, the fault effect immediately breaks out: the window position is chaotic, the afterimages overlap, and the edges are flashing and shaking, as if there is a big problem with the display system. The type and severity of the fault can be adjusted, from slight "frame drop" to complete "ghost", and you can also play an out-of-control version of "dragging halfway through the window and flying away".
The fault is rendered by the front end and does not really affect the mouse, window or graphics card driver; it will recover after closing the page. If you want to act naturally, you can make the fault "good and bad", create doubts about "Is it time to repair the computer?", or use it when the other party has just complained about the flashing screen.
It is suitable for teasing friends to create supernatural moments such as "Is your screen broken?" It is also often used as video material to demonstrate the form of UI failure, or as a prop for scary and funny Short Video, making the "computer haunted" scene more vivid.
Reminder: Be cautious with people who have really had problems with their screen or graphics card, so as not to run into real worries; close it immediately after the performance and prove that everything is normal, and don't let the other party really update the graphics card driver or send it for repair.
The fake window dragging failure causes the window to fly around, dislocated, and flicker when it is dragged, presenting a supernatural scene of "the system display driver is broken."
